Since starting my journey into the world of manufacturing menswear in the UK (ManMen.uk), I’ve become obsessed with where items are produced. It’s been incredible to discover how many designers source with quality, not price at the top of the priority list. When I was first asked to shoot the BKNIT lookbook, I knew they’d fall into that category. As they’re knitted at a mill in the Scottish Borders the quality is outstanding – super-soft yet super-strong and long enough to do a double wrap. The yarn itself is spun in Yorkshire using British Super Geelong Lambswool using digital technology to create contemporary designs – personal favourite being the abstract camouflage design in brown and teal. The new range has just launched this week, so take a look at BKNIT.co.uk.
